When I was about six months sober, I started seeing a light at the end of the tunnel. Things were getting better, I was gaining some weight, and I was feeling good.
I discovered the band 30 Seconds to Mars. (P.S. - Jared Leto is a total weirdo but he’s a genius.)
I listened to the album and found this song called “attack.”

I used to listen to this song over and over again.
On Friday, I was driving to pick up food and this song came on my Spotify. I flooded me with memories. I blasted it driving through The Highlands, windows down, and forcing everyone to listen to the song with me. Yeah, that guy.
