Building a Fitness Brand with Authenticity w/ Carter Williams - EP 93
Carter Williams is a fitness entreprenuer and a Crossfit coach. He and I had a wide ranging conversation.
Carter recently had a transformation in his life. He realized that his identity was wrapped up in exterior things, such as his looks and his image and how people perceived him. During a hike, Carter has a spiritual experience that transformed the way he approached his business as well as the impact he wants to have on the world.
Since this experience, Carter has approached health and wellness from a completely new approach. Instead of thinking about himself, he started to think about others. The result has been a life filled with fulfillment and opportunities.
Carter was extremely vulnerable and authentic during our interview. He has no problem talking about the ups and downs of his journey and I think everything thinking about starting a fitness business can learn a lot about his approach.
Our conversation touched on a lot of important subject matters that I believe young men need to hear and to talk about more. Thanks Carter!
In this episode, we talk about...
How being on Survivor gave Carter a jump start in building his brand.
How being a father has transformed the ways Carter things about his work and his impact.
Functional Hero - which is a health and wellness app being developed specifically for emergency responders.
Carter's viewpoints on testosterone and how society is killing our competitive drive to want to be the best versions of ourselves.
