Do You Have the Guts to Be Successful?
One of the reasons why I love entrepreneurship so much is because over a long enough timeline, it always weeds out the people and the businesses that are looking for short cuts.
Short cuts and "quick wins" have their value, but short cuts will never lead to lasting success.
To be truly successful, you have to have nerve. You have to have guts. You have to be able to stick through a plan when you're not seeing immediate success. It's in these moments that you start thinking of things you should be doing differently.
this person is doing great, should I do it like him?
maybe this is the wrong strategy, what should I change?
why did I think this was a good idea?
am I going to lose everything I worked for?
It's natural to ask yourself these questions, but you need to truly appreciate this moment because you are not the only one out there second-guessing yourself. This is where most people quit because there is a lot at stake. This is where most wannabe entrepreneurs quit because they're not willing to put their chips on the table.
It is in these moments of doubt and uncertainty that you can find true opportunity. This is your chance to separate yourself from the pack!

I worked on Sober Nation every day for 10 years. It wasn't until the last 2 years that I saw real success.
Don't believe me? Look at this screenshot. This is my organic traffic over the last 10 years. If you look, you will see that the first 8 years we're basically a loss.
This is how it works. It takes 10 years to be an overnight success.
