Friends From Around The World

Currently, I’m sitting in a hotel room at the Residence Inn located in Boise ID.

I’m here for a conference, it’s called Craft and Commerce and it’s hosted by a company that I am connected with called ConvertKit.

It’s great to be here. I got in town yesterday and I’m already having so much fun.

Over the last 4 years, I’ve made internet friends all over the world. Most of these friends I’ve never met in person, but I’ve developed a deep kinship with many of them.

Yesterday, I got to meet Louis. He is the founder of Sparkloop.app, which is a company I invested in and love.

Anyway, Louis and I have been friends for years. He’s one of the closest “Twitter friends” I have. We often chat about business or working out and life in general.

Yesterday was the opening day of the conference and there was a party at a local restaurant for everyone to meet. I walked in and Louis saw me and ran over with a big smile and gave me a hug.

It was great.

What a time to be alive. I get to build relationships with talented people all over the world and then meet them in person.

I’m feeling very grateful and inspired. Can’t wait to see who else I come across.
