How One Man is Fighting the Sugar Epidemic w/ Mike Collins - EP 74
This week I interviewed Michael Collins.
This week I interviewed Michael Collins.
Mike is someone who I admire a lot, both for his character and also for his mission. Mike is the founder of sugaraddiction.com. He and I had an amazing and wide-ranging conversation about the truth behind how harmful sugar is for our bodies, and also our spirits and our minds.
I've always been mindful and food. However, my wife (who is a personal trainer and soon to be dietitian) has truly opened my eyes and educated me more on how huge of a role our food actually plays in our lives.
Out of all the "toxic" foods in our society, sugar definitely takes the prize.
In speaking to Mike, I learned that he is passionate about spreading this message, but he has his focus in the right place. In other words, he's not trying to save the world but rather trying to help people by building community and by really listening to people on a personal level.
I know you will love our conversation. It was wide-ranging and we got into many different strange but fascinating topics.
In this episode we talk about...
How Mike changed his life and decided to go sugar-free.
How Mike raised his children on sugar-free diets.
The strategies Mike used to make sugaraddiction.com such an important website and brand in the industry.
The lessons Mike learned on what works and what doesn't work when building a brand.
