I'm Doing A Rank And Rent Experiment
I think this is the best way to take advantage of the huge opportunity that is local contracting leads.
There is a housing shortage in the United States.
In addition, many of the houses that currently exist are old and outdated. The baby boomers built small houses with rooms that are separated from each other with walls and doors. Millennials prefer open floor plans.
So the houses that are currently on the market will also need remodeling.
The point is that there is going to be an insane demand for blue collar contracting services over the next 10 years. It’s an industry that has been on my radar for some time, and I think I finally found a way to capitalize on it.
In this video, I will share with you a rank and rent strategy that I am going to try.
We’ll see what happens.

I've thought about doing this and I'm very excited to see how you do with it. I was a General Contractor in NYC and I know the industry very well. I built my company's website and did my own SEO and was #1 on Google for "General Contractor NYC" for a long time until I sold the company. While home service companies are always hungry for leads their biggest problem is their lack of follow up, and poor sales and closing. They tend to not follow up so they lose leads and then blame you for the leads being bad. Of course there are plenty of leads just looking to get prices to compare and some home services are a race to the bottom. Some of the commodity services are roofing, painting and tree services. I was a General Contractor so my leads were almost all very serious because they could not easily get quotes and do comparisons on large home renovation projects. Just thought it might be helpful for you to know. BTW, I found your article, or maybe it was a video, where you show us your friend's job board website very interesting. A job board website for home services might also be worth a try. Curious about your thoughts on all of these.
Yeah, I'm ready to put up a directory as well, it's been something I have been thinking about for a bit... And it looks like the Digital Landlord guy gathers leads via Google Ads. Could you use a service like iPostal1 for your physical business address?
