Kari Lake ... So Embarrassing
Surprise, surprise.
Kari Lake is casting doubt on the election results of which she lost the race for Governor of Arizona.
It’s so embarrassing.
Here’s what we’ve learned from the midterms.
The American people would rather be led by people they trust than people they agree with. It’s not the MAGA policies that cost them this humiliating loss, but rather, it’s the fact that they are all election denying sociopaths.
Everything that Trump touches dies. This is a brilliant book written by Rick Wilson. It couldn’t be more true. Think about it …
His real estate empire (twice)
Trump university
His Atlantic City hotel chain
His casino
and now … the republican party
Republicans and democrats are more centrist then we are being told. I’ve said many times that we all have more in common than we have differences. I’ve studied many of the polling and focus groups and it turns out that the common theme for republicans and democrats in this election was … UNITY. Go figure. We are sick of fighting, especially because we don’t even know what we are fighting about.
Election denial is a losing battle. This couldn’t be more clear. Election deniers got destroyed. It wasn’t even close. The people actively fought against election intimidation and election denial propaganda. The country is over it, and the people made it clear.
Which brings me to Kari Lake.
At first glance, Kari Lake appears to be a brilliant civil servant. She is clearly passionate about servicing the country, she is well spoken, she is articulate, and she is formidable. In another life, I think she could have been a great governor.
But her career is over, and it’s not coming back. All because she foolishly held onto the big lie.
At this point, it’s pathetic and desperate. It’s the last gasp of Trump’s dead and embarrassing legacy. Lake knows, like everyone else, that she lost.
We will move on without them. Thankfully.
I’m thrilled to know that democracy lives. I’m thrilled to know that our country is still for the people and by the people. I’m excited to have conversations with people who disagree with me in hopes that we can make forward progress.
