Kids Don't Listen ...

… they imitate.

We love our dog. She’s the best. She’s a perfect dog really. I love that she’s part of our family. But she does this one thing that drives me nuts.

She stands 3 feet away from you as your eating and stares at the floor, waiting for a piece of food to fall off the table.

This has gotten exponentially worse since the kiddos were born. Getting your kids to sit down and eat is hard enough, but the way Alice hovers right underneath them makes it harder. Plus it just annoys me.

Like … grow up Alice, you know you’re gonna get the food that falls on the floor. Stop being so desperate.

Regardless, this morning, the little dude was sitting at his table and Alice was hovering underneath the sweet girls baby chair. Little dude looks at her and says …

“GO AWAY ALICE. GO AWAY!”

It made me feel ashamed. The little dude has been watching me the whole time.

I wonder what else he is picking up.
