Everyone knows how much I love bragging about my wife.
She’s the coolest.
Most people don’t know about her struggles. My wife has endured more than most. It’s not something I talk about too much because it’s not my place. However, this week she created something that is worth sharing to all of you.
Eating disorders are brutal. Absolutely ruthless, soul sucking, fucking brutal. If you have never been through it, you really can’t even begin to understand what it’s like.
I am so proud of Jules. So proud of her. I’m proud of her in ways I can’t even describe.

It’s National Eating Disorder Awareness week. Reflecting on my own experience, I can’t believe I’m at where I’m at. I remember losing my cycle as a teenager and the doctor telling me I won’t be able to have kids when I grow up if I can’t recover from my anorexia and bulimia. Now here I am, just a month away from giving birth to my first child, with almost a year of recovery under my belt after a tough relapse. It’s been a long journey- 16 years of battling this little monster. I am so grateful for the people in my life who have stuck by me during this fight, especially my dad, Julie, Justin, and Tim.
