Ok ... Time to get serious
I’ve been working with a writing coach for the last two months. It’s been a great process. I’ve loved every second of it. I hired him to help me write a book.
But now things are getting serious. The brainstorming and creative process has run its course. Now I have to actually start writing the damn thing.
I have 18 pages written. I was on a hot streak in the beginning, but life showed up. Little man got sick, Jules is in the final home stretch of school, and I’ve used it at a reason to be too busy.
The funny thing is that I haven’t been too busy to do all the other things that don’t scare me as much.
I haven’t been too busy to write my newsletter, or to close deals, or to take sales calls. I’ve only been too busy to write my book.
So I’ve decided that I am going to write it here. There is something about this blog, about “the blank page” that helps me generate a routine.
So, I will write my book in public. I will send you guys my work, each morning, as it comes out.
Admittedly, it may be choppy and there will be lots of editing, but I need to do this or else I won’t ever get this fucker written.
Thanks for supporting me.
