"People Never Change"

Yes they do. Of course they do.

People change every day.

Most of the time, when someone says that someone else will never change, what they are actually saying is that they aren’t willing to adjust their reactions to a person’s beliefs.

But this has little to do with behavior.

I’m not the same person I was 5 years ago. I’ve changed a lot.

So have you.

It’s hard to change your reactions. It’s hard to come to terms with the fact that you don’t actually have control over what someone else does or says. It’s easier to put the blame on someone else.
