Personal Holdings Companies

On TimStodz.com, I write a lot about my personal holdings company. A PHC is an idea that has gained popularity in the last few years, and it’s an investing methodology (if you can call it that) that I believe in.

Today, Bloomberg wrote a report about the landscape of the current Private Equity market. This is a perfect example of how traditional investing is changing.

The TLDR:

• Investors are realizing the fees that fund managers charge are insane.

• Investors are realizing that fund managers are useless.

• Investors want more control over their money.

Everything I have been talking about is coming true.

These days, everyone is a media company. I would also add that individuals are becoming independent finances companies.

A personal holdings company is an idea that I am very excited about. I think we will see these type of stories happen more often over the next 5 - 10 years.

This is a complete change in the way people invest their money.
