Slow Growth
Most trees grow under the shadow of their mothers. They grow in the shade which forces them to grow slowly. The slow growth saves metabolic energy to fight off dead carbon and harden it’s bark.
As such, trees that grow slowly aren’t as suspectable to fungus.
Slow growth is strong growth.
