Soft Skills
Why did we start calling these attributes “soft skills?”
Just because they can’t be (easily) measured doesn’t mean they aren’t important. If you ask me, the soft skills of effective communication, leadership, adaptation, and good listening are WAY more valuable than perceived hard skills that insist on you to get the right answer.
Like Seth Godin says in his new book “The Song Of Significance,” we should instead call these real skills.
These are the skills that matter most.
