The Growth Model of Sobriety Engine
Tori and I have been working so hard to build Sobriety Engine.
Out of all the things I’ve ever created / have been a part of, this is one of the coolest. The community inside Sobriety Engine is so inspiring. Really, it’s amazing to be a part of. I am so grateful to have been in the position to be able to help people during the pandemic, and create resources that have made it possible for others to get help and to get fellowship at a time when all the traditional means to do so have been shut down.
Sobriety Engine is growing, and it’s amazing to see.
With that said, it’s been a slow and steady growth. Not quite the exponential tech growth that were working for.
Inevitably, I started thinking of ways that we could level up and grow faster. I listed potential partnerships, potential licensing agreements, etc.
Then, I woke up this morning like “wtf are you doing?”
It’s this kind of hyper growth mentality that I need to be mindful of. It’s not necessary. I' promised myself that I would stay focused on the few priorities that are most important. That’s the commitment I made to myself.
It’s not that Sobriety Engine isn’t important, but rather it’s that Tori has it covered and there is no need for me to get in the way of something that is working.
Here’s the reality.
Sobriety Engine is growing. It’s growing at a steady rate. It’s a great product that is helping people. That’s all I need.
The growth will come in time. The priority for 2021 is to focus on the things that are right in front of me. That will keep my stress levels down and it will help all of us keep our eye on the prize.
