I don’t like to post pictures of my kids on the internet.
In this case, I am making an exception.
So for some reason, when my son was born, I decided that I wanted the little dude to have long hair. We haven’t cut a single hair on his head.
Jules hates it. I admit at times it looks a bit straggly, but for the most part he looks awesome.
Like an idiot, and in a moment of weakness, I told Jules I would agree to him getting a haircut but only if she absolutely promised that it would be just a trim. I instantly knew it was a bad idea because women don’t know how to go to the hairstylist and “get a trim.”
I’ve never seen a single instance where a woman went to get her “dead ends cut off” (btw I still don’t think that’s a real thing), and didn’t come back with like 9 inches cut off her hair.
I knew it was a bad idea. I agreed to letting the little dude get a trim and I regret it terribly.
In my wife’s defense, she definitely told the hairstylist to keep it long.
For some reason, that I can not understand, the hairstylist left the front of the little dude’s hair long and cut the back off. She gave him a reverse mullet. It couldn’t be more opposite of what she should have done. She did exactly the opposite. When someone wants to keep long hair, by definition, that means to keep the long parts long.
He’s lucky he’s got his mom’s good looks, because his haircut looks ridiculous.
He's a darling. And I think I'd find another stylist. :)
But look at that smile!

Little Dude wins ☺️
