In this crazy little online world we live in, 'offline' is incredibly undervalued. It not only can bring massive momentum to business but it can bring a lot of joy and fulfilment from the connections made in person.
Often there are people that want other people to come and talk to them....but sometimes when someone approaches them out of the blue, they put up defences and it often goes nowhere.
Unfortunately, these days (that makes me sound old) people are too wary of being the next victim of an axe murderer, or of being talked to by a weirdo which then puts the person who made the advance in the first place, on the back foot and probably puts them off of talking to the next stranger.
It seems to be the way of the world now....I'm trying to do my bit to be that stranger willing to talk to other strangers.

Right on the mark Tim. Thanks for saying this out loud.
